FitToJob (“we”, “us”) helps you match your verified career evidence to a target job. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal data.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Career Profile content — the résumé you upload or paste, and the experiences, skills, projects, achievements and evidence extracted from it.
- Application data — job descriptions you analyze, evidence matches, resume drafts, and exports you create.
- Billing information — your plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how you use the product, to improve it.
How we use your information
- To build and verify your Career Profile and match it against target jobs.
- To generate resume suggestions strictly from your verified evidence — FitToJob does not invent experience.
- To operate your account, process payments, and provide support.
- To secure the service and improve its features.
Service providers
We share limited data with providers only to run the service: a payment processor for subscriptions and the Job Hunt Pass, an AI provider to extract structured facts from your résumé text, email delivery for account messages, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Data retention & your rights
Your Career Profile, evidence, applications and exports remain available to you while your account is active, and are not deleted when a paid plan ends. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — contact us to make a request.
Security
We use encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and signed URLs for file access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
